new dvds...

i got an email from deepdiscountdvd.com - they're having a buy 2, get 1 free sale on certain titles - over 450 of them... that are all $8.97... and they don't have tax and shipping can be free... so i'm thinking, "depending on what movies they're offering, $5.98 per dvd is not that bad..." so i look on the site and start checking boxes of movies that i think i'd want and there are obviously some dumb movies and a bunch of kids' movies... but i ended up checking about 10-15 movies... maybe more... but i know i can't spend that kind of money... but there's one movie that i want so bad and i've never seen it for sale anywhere else... ever... so i chisel my selection down to a precious three... and i don't need any criticism for my choices... i have weird movie tastes... but these are the three that made the cut...

*cinderella (rogers and hammerstein, featuring brandy) - i've rented this multiple times... i really just love the music a whole lot... and i like this version of it better than others...
*emma - i've really only seen it once or twice, but i'm a sucker for jane austen movies... and i remember really liking it... and i love the story...

and the really important one that i HAD to have is:
*the journey of natty gann (movie with john cusack - 1985)... i loved this movie when i was a kid and saw it again a year or year and a half ago... a friend had it on vhs... i've never seen it on dvd for sale or rent... and very few people have even heard of it...

so in 5-10 business days, my new dvds will be sitting in my mailbox... yea!!!
